Spring Showers

Hello my dear readers. My poor blog will be utilized much more regularly in the near future- I’m still reeling from some very active days. Over the course of 8 days I have been basking in the love from my 2 baby showers(above picture is the adorable diaper cake from the first shower), shot my final wedding before having this baby (beautiful couple whom I adore), photographed 2 newborns, entertained a house full of family, had a wonderful pre-Easter dinner with friends from college, and helped ETot prepare for his first appearance in our church Easter play. Now I’m finishing reviews for the blog baby shower event, and of course trying to actually finalize the nursery and preparations for the baby arriving in just a few short weeks.

Many updates on the way- thanks so much for everyone who checked up on me- I’m doing great just coasting along and finally reconnecting with the internet.

Whew! You’ve been busy indeed. Love that diaper cake! I know a lady who makes them and they are so beautiful you almost don’t feel like using them. The final stretch is here and I am sooooo excited for you! Many blessings for smooth ride to bring baby home.

Wow, you’ve been busy in your final stretch! I’m in my 25th week of pregnancy and PRAY I have that much energy in my final leg.

I’m in the Dallas area also and just read your entry on VBAC’s. I’ve had two previous c-sections and was trying for another VBAC with this pregnancy but my doctor said no. After countless hours of research I realized having more c-sections was risker than trying for a VBAC (most doctors realize this also and that is why they advise you to have your tubes tied after having three c-sections).

I thought I didn’t have options but am now with a midwife and am planning a homebirth that we are so. . . excited about. Thanks for you post on VBACs!
